Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use Upstream Health, including people with disabilities.
Our commitment
Upstream Health is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology. We continue to review and improve our site.
Standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard most commonly used for websites.
What we have done
We test our site with automated accessibility tools and by hand, including keyboard-only navigation and a screen reader. Recent work includes:
- Visible keyboard focus on links, buttons, and form fields
- A skip link so keyboard users can jump straight to the main content
- Descriptive text alternatives for images
- Higher color contrast for text and buttons
- Support for zooming and enlarging text on mobile devices
- Keyboard-operable menus
- Clear names for buttons, links, and form fields
- Pause controls for videos and animations that move on their own
We recheck the site on a regular schedule and whenever we make significant changes.
Known limitations
Some pages may still have issues we have not found yet, especially older pages and content added since our last review. Some recorded videos and webinars may not yet include captions or transcripts; if you need one, please contact us. Parts of our site, such as payment and scheduling tools, are provided by third parties, and we cannot always control their accessibility. If you find a barrier, please tell us.
Contact us
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or you need information in another format, email us at support@upstreamhealth.com. Please include the page address and a description of the problem, and tell us which assistive technology you use if you can. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly and to help you get what you need.
